Salzburg, Austria

...where dreams come true

The day has arrived...We visited Salzburg, Austria, the birthplace of The Sound Of Music!! Besides being the best place on earth because of that, it also happens to be a beautiful, beautiful city and country. Dad hung in there with me and Mom and we went on a Sound of Music bus tour of the city and surrounding area, which wound up being pretty great (even by Dad's standards). It was an easy way to get around and hit the spots in a timely way.The bus played the music too from the movie as we drove through the hills, which we loved. The city itself very manageable and I can't wait to go back. The skiing in and around the area seems fantastic in the winter and the lakes nearby remind me of the Adirondacks (though they're glacier lakes, so super cold!).

Oh Salzburg, Austria, I can't wait to visit you again!
