Switzerland --> France

We did drive through the north part of Switzerland, but the passes through the mountains were closed and it was also rain/snowing. So, what was supposed to be a scenic and quick drive turned into 10 hours of not knowing which direction we were going. Two GPS' failed us and the paper maps came out. At one point, or rather, two points, we pulled into a gas station just to have them point on the map to where we were...we could have been in Poland at that point. Anyway, we eventually made it to Nancy, France. We spend only the evening and a bit of the next AM. The next day we were off to Mom's old home in Bitburg!

Check this out...plastic gloves at the gas station. Mike Flynn is in heaven.
